Collective worship (prayer and liturgy) is a weekly feature in every class and is also celebrated in a whole school format, twice per week.

Monday 3.00pm - Scripture focus for the coming week, Gospel Values and topical issues.

Friday 2.45pm - Celebration Assembly and worship based on the liturgical year. Parents are invited to worship with us from 2.45pm.

Age appropriately, staff support pupils to plan and deliver class based prayer and liturgy sessions each week. A specific format is used so that the class: Gather, Listen to scripture, Respond to the word of God, Go forth to proclaim the good news and Evaluate their efforts. 

Each class, throughout the year, presents one class worship to parents and the rest of the school. This focuses on the liturgical year as well as drawing on learning the children have gained in class.

Year 5 - 16th October 3pm

Year 6 - 20th November 3pm

Year 2 - 22nd January 3pm

Year 4 - 4th March 3pm

Year 3 - 28th March (Holy Week) 3pm

Year 1 - 13th May 3pm

Rec - 17th June 3pm

Year 6 - Leavers' assembly and worship 2.30pm
